tribe of northern California, our great friend and teacher who spent her rich 86 years on this planet till June of 2000, weaving baskets and filling them with wisdom and humor. Her knowledge of the indigenous plants and their uses, and her tireless efforts to share that knowledge in the stories she told will ignite us for generations to come. Vivian never stopped learning . At the age of 70, Vivian returned to school to get her degree at DQ University...focusing on education for indian people and encouraging all ... to further their education.Thank you, Vivian."
