The Cultural Conservancy proudly
announces the launching of a
PBS web site

Circle of Stories
about Native American storytelling

Melissa Nelson and Phil Klasky worked on the project for 10 months. We co-produced the site with Philomath Films and acted as writers and cultural consultants. We also provided resources about native storytellers and the storytelling tradition, cultural conservation, and the important link between stories and the land.

Native American oral tradition becomes a state-of-the-art web experience with CIRCLE OF STORIES - an ITVS Interactive project that treats visitors to the rich storytelling of Native culture bearers and a unique exploration of cultural identity and preservation.
