| Future SER Conference - Indigenous Ecology & Cultural Restoration Workshop and Environmental Justice Sessions with Dennis Martinez, MN convenes the EJ session and is assisting Kat Anderson in disbursing a grant for Native American Residents of California to attend the Conference, as a speaker, cultural demonstrator or participant. Bioneers Conference, Native American Vision & Indigenous Permaculture, Oct. 27 - 31 Pacific Islanders Cultural Revitalization. Robert Uhrle, Project Director Diabetes Indigenous Health Project. Robert Uhrle, Project Director Yup''ik Indian Natural Birthing Project. Sharon Gorman, Project Director. Tibetan Cultural Programs in Singing, Dancing, and Meditation. Plus a sand mandala project. Basque Art & Culture Exhibit. Peruvian Amazon Indigenous Ecology Education Project - Mestizo self-esteem and revitalization project. Indigenous Film Series TCC will screen several films about indigenous environmental issues. Examples include: Yakoana - The Voice of Indigenous Peoples, Gene Hunters - the Human Genome Biodiversity Project, and From the Heart World - Elder Brother's Warning. Educational Tours of the Golden Gate National Parks Melissa Nelson provided an all -day tour of the Presidio and Muir Woods National Parks for a group of international indigenous women fellows from the UC Davis Global Gender Initiative Project.
